    Probably at most... since a lot of the new AI based upscaling/multiplying features are unusable in VAM and VR unfortunately. Only speed ups would come from an increase in shader cores and the increase in power to run them faster.

    Are you running the patched (much faster multicore CPU physics) VAM in these runs or just default VAM? Can you do 2560x1440 benchmark run so I can compare with my own results at 2560x1440?

    You should install the patch - it is an amazing piece of low-level software engineering and optimization - see the difference it made to me above (post #990). Patch changes low level physics/maths code to run in parallel instead of serial and will use many of your CPU cores to do the work...

    OK finally got desktop runs working & done - the difference in performance between "original + full VAR folder" and this new "multi-core physics CPU patch + empty VAR folder" is staggering.... I doubt you'd get anywhere near this level of speedup if you went from a 3900X to a 9950X on original...

    Absolutely ridiculous that just having extra VAR files in VAM install degrades the performance so much - surely it has to be because of maybe a handful of VARs which do something continually in background, and not "normal" VARs right? Normal VARs which just contain some model you are not using...

    I noticed a lot of corrupt VAR files in my AddonPackages folder and when I examined them, they are actually some error HTML page which is named as original VAR filename (so hard to find without searching for HTML) I can't attach the problem VARs here as the uploader will not allow the VAR...

    Question Any way to control all motion/rotation with only one VR controller?

    I want to be able to use a single VR controller to move forward/back/up/down/rotate in a scene. Right now, it appears that VAM requires TWO controllers to do all these motions/rotations which is a PITA when only one hand is free in VR ;) Is there a plugin or way to do this?
