    Use logic Bricks - can't remember ATM if orig MacGruber or Hal. Has a time delay you can set as you wish. So Trigger >logic brick >in turn trigger VamMoan2. VamMoan2 does has visible sound frequency up to i think 5 seconds, but logic bricks work better would guess for more randomness.
