    I guess I could help with some testing. Do you have a server that is accessible to host the server files? Or able to punch a hole through your firewall?

    Yes, hosting on your PC is the easiest way of running the server. However, most home routers have a firewall that blocks incoming connections. This means another PC cannot connect directly to yours.
    You would need to setup a firewall rule that allows incoming connections on the port used by the multiplayer server and directs them to your PCs lan address.
